Music Scholarships For Students
The Associated Male Choruses of America, Inc. (AMCA) was established in 1924 to promote interest in, the performance of, and appreciation of male chorus music.
The AMCA Scholarship Fund is one of the public service functions of the AMCA. It was instituted to assist promising students of music at the college level and is open to all students meeting the requirements.

AMCA Scholarship Winners for the 2001-2002 school year are as follows:
- Winner of the THE LESTER AXDAHL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD and recipient of an $800 AMCA Scholarship is:
- Giles Tomkins, sponsored by The Queensmen of Toronto Male Chorus, Third Award (Previous Recipient)
NOTE: This Lester Axdahl Scholarship Award was established in 1998 to honor and recognize the tremendous contributions made to AMCA by Lester Axdahl. Les faithfully and diligently served AMCA as Treasurer for over 30 years and he served as a Trustee of the Scholarship Fund since the fund's inception in 1980.

- Heather Brandon, Sponsor - Kawartha Male Chorus, First Award
- Leah Gordon, Sponsor - Kawartha Male Chorus, Second Award (Previous Recipient)
- Karen Pinkney, Sponsor - Mansfield Men's Chorus, Third Award (Previous Recipient)
- Christina Rice, Sponsor - Midland Men of Music, First Award
