Music Scholarships For Students
The Associated Male Choruses of America, Inc. (AMCA) was established in 1924 to promote interest in, the performance of, and appreciation of male chorus music.
The AMCA Scholarship Fund is one of the public service functions of the AMCA. It was instituted to assist promising students of music at the college level and is open to all students meeting the requirements.

From: Peterson, Don - AMCA Scholarship Chair
Here is the list of AMCA Scholarship winners for this year, Pics and bios will be forthcoming as soon as I get them from the winners. Gavin Bidelman is the Lester Axdahl Winner and this is his second consecutive scholarship. Tim Buchholz also is a second consecutive winner. We increased the award amounts this year and reduced the number of awards from six to five.
Web Manager's Note: This Lester Axdahl Scholarship Award was established in 1998 to honor and recognize the tremendous contributions made to AMCA by Lester Axdahl. Les faithfully and diligently served AMCA as Treasurer for over 30 years and he served as a Trustee of the Scholarship Fund since the fund's inception in 1980.
